Ежедневная газета, крупнейшая к югу от г. Вашингтона. Традиционно поддерживает Демократическую партию [Democratic Party]. Издается в г. Атланте, шт. Джорджия. Основана в 1868 как "Атланта конститьюшн" [Atlanta Constitution, The], переименована в ноябре 2001, после слияния с "Атланта джорнал" [Atlanta Journal, The], основанным в 1883. Издается компанией "Кокс ньюспейперс" [Cox Newspapers]. Тираж около 432,9 тыс. экз. (2000), воскресного выпуска - 680 тыс. экз.
